Maji Square is a large covered square full of restaurants. It is located in the old EXPO premises and on weekends it is super lively. In the gardens of the northern side (Yuanshan Park) there are always craft fairs, farmers markets, events, street artists... something is always happening. We love it because it is a place where children can run and have fun. If you go through the food court, at the end you will see that there is a restaurant area with terraces. There the children can play around the giant tree while you have a good beer at The Three Lions Inn, or enjoy a good piece of meat at the Gaucho.
How to get to Maji Square: MRT Yuanshan (red line), exit 1. If you go by car, there is a parking lot in the south area. But be careful because it gest full very early. If you come from Confucious Temple, it is just a 10min walk (700m).
