National Taiwan Science Education Center is a spectacular museum located in North Taipei, in the Shilin District. It is so big and has so many exhibits and activities for children, that you can spend a whole day there.
Tickets are bought outside, in ticket booths. And then you have to go up to floor 2 which is where the entrance is. But first take a tour of floor 1, which is spectacular and you can see the bike on the tightrope from below: the height is impressive! This is also where the restaurants are.
Once you enter the permanent exhibition, we recommend you go up to the 8th floor and go down the wooden and steel walkway. The views of the city, the river and the mountains are breathtaking!
Already on the 6th floor see an exhibition of exploration of the land that is very good.
On the 5th floor you can do the Sky Bike. Those who dare can ride the bike on a tightrope. It is fun! To do this, you have to buy a ticket at a machine next to the entrance to this attraction. On the other side of where the bike is there is a small playground. It is just a tunnel. But kids like it a lot.
On the 4th floor there is a small library that is very good to rest! Children lie in an area designed for them to read.
Don't miss the most interactive area, which is on the 3rd floor.
