If breakfast is not included in the price of your hotel and the weather is nice, we recommend going to La Flor de la Esquina (Plaza del Padre Juan de Mariana, in front of San Ildefonso church). They have nice outdoor seating with views of the Cathedral tower. Coffee with toast is 2€ (3.50€ with orange juice); small sandwiches (bocatines) 2€. Opens at 10 every day except Sundays and holidays, when it opens at noon.
