Take Calle de la Trinidad (behind the archbishop's palace) and continue on Calle Santo Tomé. At Santo Tomé 2, you'll find the cute Café de las Monjas, where you can have a coffee (1.60€) or hot chocolate (2.80€) and sample one of the typical sweets of the region.
Heading down the left-hand side of Travesía del Conde, you'll come to Plaza del Conde, the site of the church Iglesia de Santo Tomé church. Inside the church the famous painting The Burial of the Count of Orgaz by "El Greco", who did much of his work in Toledo, is on display. If you're interested in art, you won't want to miss it. The entrance fee is 2.50€. Hours: 1 May-30 October: 10.00am to 07.00pm; 31 October-30 April: 10.00am to 06.00pm.
Going down Calle San Juan de Dios, you'll come to the Casa Museo del Greco and the Sinagoga del Tránsito (Synagogue of El Tránsito) (seeing them from the outside is sufficient). Turning right on Travesía de la Judería, you'll arrive at Sinagoga de Santa María la Blanca (Santa María la Blanca Synagogue).
