After the Zurriola Bridge you'll come to Paseo de la República Argentina, the site of two of the most emblematic buildings in the city: Teatro de Victoria Eugenia and Hotel María Cristina.
- The first is the epicentre of the city's cultural life as well as the scenario for all the editions of the San Sebastián International Film Festival until 1999, when the festival was moved to the Kursaal. Memorable events such as the world premiere of the movies "Vertigo" and "North by Northwest" by Alfred Hitchcock took place here.
- The second is the most renowned hotel in the city. Inaugurated in 1912, it was at the centre of San Sebastián 's "belle époque" and is the place where many of the stars attending the San Sebastián International Film Festival stay.
Continue walking along Paseo de los Fueros until the María Cristina Bridge. Along the way you'll have spectacular views of the city, the Urumea River and its bridges.
