In addition to the Jewish Quarter there are several other areas in the centre worth visiting:
- If you walk along Calle Blanco Belmonte, which later becomes Ángel Saavedra and then Jesús María, you'll arrive at Plaza Tendillas, which locals refer to as "the centre". It is very typical to stop for a draft beer in Bar Correo, located on Calle Jesús María just before the square.
- The most commercial streets in the city are Conde de Gondomar, Morería and José Cruz Conde, all of which branch off from the square.
- Taking José Cruz Conde and coming out onto Calle San Álvaro, you'll arrive at the lovely and lively Plaza de San Miguel.
- If you take Calle Claudio Marcelo from Plaza Tendillas, you'll come to Plaza Corredera, which is also very popular with locals at night when the weather is nice.
