The centre of Sitges is brimming with lively bars and shops. Go back towards the centre and start up Calle Primer de Maig. Known as "Calle de Pecado" (Sin Street), it is where most of the city's nightclubs are and the centre of gay life in Sitges. Noteworthy are the gay bar Parrots and the bar Prisma (with very nice outdoor seating on the upper level).
Now turn right onto Carrer de les Parellades, where you'll find most of the city's shops. On the corner is La Cantonada, a famous all-night place for eating frankfurters (3.20€) and French fry cones (2.30€-3.20€). If you keep walking on Carrer de les Parellades, you'll return to the centre and get a feel for the pre-evening atmosphere. Heading down Carrer de Sant Pau, the street that runs perpendicular to Parellades, you'll come to the famous waffle house Gofras, which opens at 17:00. For a snack, we recommend the chocolate waffle with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top (3.70€). It's messy but in anticipation of this, taps are installed inside the establishment itself for washing your hands!
Continuing on Parellades, you'll come to Plaza del Cap de la Vila, which gives way to Carrer de Jesús. The streets branching perpendicularly off from it are also very beautiful and will lead you back to the station.
