Brief description: Jogyesa is the main temple of the Jogye order of Korean Buddhism. Initially built in 1395, it has undergone several reconstructions until its current state. During the Japanese colonial invasion from 1910 to 1945, it became the strongest stronghold of Korean Buddhism, being the center of resistance to Japanese attempts to make this lane of Buddhism disappear. The temple, which contains 3 majestic Buddhas, is surrounded by a wonderful garden that is always decorated. It is a wonder to walk through it submerged among the skyscrapers that surround it.
