Lunch in Miyajima Island’s main street:

The island's most typical dish is grilled oysters and Okonomi-Yaki, a type of Japanese pizza. Oysters can be eaten at any street stall (400¥ for two). But for Okonomi-Yaki we recommend a visit to a tepanjaky there is in the main street (Omotesando) on the right, just before a chestnut shop. Order the cheese with extra mayonnaise. It is delicious! The kid's size costs 500¥ and is large enough for an adult.
