• Brief description:  artificial island with several shopping centres. It is well worth a visit just for curiosity's sake, for the views and the walk to get there. Take a look first at Odaiba Aqua City (with more lovely views of the city) and then walk to Venus Fort (interesting for its Las Vegas-like recreation of day and night).

• How to get there: getting to the island is fun in itself! We recommend taking the Yurikamome monorail from Shimbasi station and getting off at Daiba (15 min. - 320¥). To get back to the hotel, retrace your steps by taking the Yurikamome back to Shimbasi station and changing to the Yamanote line, which will leave you at Akihabara station.
