- Brief description: Samurai district from the feudal period, next to Kanazawa castle. It still preserves its air of history and the stately architecture of the houses remains intact. It is worth wandering around and visiting one of the restored houses, which still have all the tools that reflect the way of life of the Samurai at the time they were a prosperous class. We recommend the Nomura-Ke house.
- Duration of visit: 2 hrs (including the house)
- Opening times: the district can be visited at any time. The Nomura-Ke house is open from 8.30-17.30 (until 16.30 from October to March).
- Cost: 550¥ (entrance to the house).
- How to get there: walk from the hotel. Head towards the Tatemachi Shopping Promenade and go leftwards. At the end of the street, turn right along Hyakumangoku Dori Avenue and walk until you reach the river. Turn left and follow the course of the river, which will take you to the Samurai District.
