If you arrive really hungry, you can approach Fritto Misto (getting off the boat on the left). They prepare fried fish and chips. Our favorite, the mixed (fish, squid and prawns). They have offers that include a drink for 16€.
If you are able to wait, better start the route and go to eat one of the fantastic pizzas of the Devil (Via San Mauro 24, in front of the bridge of love). They cost 6-9 € and you can eat them on the terrace, or take them away to eat in one of the corners of the island. If you are looking for something more sophisticated, want to treat yourself or celebrate something, then better go to Al Gatto Nero da Ruggero (Fondamenta della Giudecca di Burano 88), whose specialty is spaghetti with seafood (spaghetti alla escogliera, € 20). It is expensive and the dishes are not that large, but they are delicious. To get a table on the terrace, better book in advance (+39 041 730 120 or web).
