• Brief description: the big attraction is the open-air opera in the summer in the Verona Arena (roman amphitheatre which is very well conserved). But it also has very charming streets and buildings. We therefore recommend going to this city whether you feel like seeing an opera or not. The main places of interest are:
  • Piazza Braa, where the Arena is located
  • Piazza Erbe
  • Juliet´s house, near the piazza Erbe (it is enough to see the balcony where Romeo courted her from the interior patio)
  • Piazza dei Signori
  • The Duomo
  • Castelvecchio and the Ponte Scaligero (good views of the wall from the bridge)
• Length of visit: 3-4 hours to see the whole city on foot. Do not bother entering any of the places on the visit.
