- Brief description: Burano is a beautiful island of colorful houses, located north of the Venetian Lagoon. It is also known for its lace production, although what you will like most is to enjoy its dreamy canals and its picturesque leaning bell tower (it is very curious how depending on where you see it, it looks more or less inclined).
- Recommended route: get off the boat and take the Viale Marcello towards the main channel. Once there, continue on the right margin until the end and cross on the left the so-called Bridge of Love, to continue walking along the Via Guidecca along the other channel. Almost at the end, cross the bridge on your left and continue along the canal until you reach the Church of San Martino Vescovo, whose bell tower will have left you amazed all the way. From here take the touristy Via Baldassarre Galuppi until you reach the other channel. Cross the first bridge that you see and continue on the right by Fondamenta Pontinello Sinistra, which is much quieter and less touristy. At the end, turn left and you will reach the vaporetto stop by the back.
- How to get there: take vaporetto line 12 or N from Murano Faro or Fondamenta Nuove (45min).
- Duration of the visit: 1-2h.
