- Brief description: In the Foro Romano you can see the remains of what was the political, legal, social and commercial centre of ancient Rome. The most important sights are Titus´ Arch, Saturn´s Temple, Vesta´s Temple and the Church of San Luca e Martina, all of them linked by the Via Sacra, the Forum´s main street. Behind the Forum, but separated from it, (you can´t get to it directly) is the Circo Massimo. To get to the Circo you have to walk quite a bit and it isn´t really worth it because you can make out its shape and little else. Should you want to go, take the metro from the Colosseo stop to Circo Massimo.
