• Brief description: 4,500-metre-high glacier on a mountain very close to Lijiang. On clear days, you can see its perennially snow-capped peaks from the city (best views from Black Dragon Pool). While the visit is expensive, we definitely recommend it! Wear warm clothes, as it's rather cold (or you can rent anoraks on the mountain). From November to March you can even go skiing. 
• Duration of visit: 3 hrs.
• Hours: 8:30 to 17:00.
• Cost: 130CNY to enter the park, 80CNY for the Protection Fare of the Old Town, 20CNY to take the bus to the funicular, 150CNY for the funicular. Total approx. 380CNY (55€ - 40£)
• How to get there: take bus no. 7. To get to the stop, exit the Old Town through the windmill gate and follow the street that goes to the right. More or less halfway up the second block on the left is the station. The bus leaves every 30 minutes starting at 8:30 am. To take it back from the park, the stop is just in front of the bus exit in the Tourist Center (45 min, 10CNY).
