• Brief description: it is the largest museum in China and one of the most visited in the world. The museum is really interesting because it reviews the history of China and its artistic expressions, from its inception to the present. The downside, besides the long queues to enter, the museum is huge and it takes a whole day to visit all exhibitions. In any case, if you arrive early and the queu is not too long, you can take a look choosing the historical period that interests you the most.

• How to get there: bike. Located in the eastern part of the square. On the metro, get off at Tiananmen East Station (Line 1) or Qianmen Station (Line 2).
